Early Access Terms

These terms supplement the Terms of Service for participants in the SentriKat Early Access program.

1. What is Early Access?

The SentriKat Early Access program provides free access to the SentriKat platform — both SaaS and on-premises editions — to a limited number of organizations before the official commercial launch.

Early Access is designed to gather feedback, validate the product, and build relationships with our first users. In exchange for free access, we ask that you actively use the platform and share your experience with us.

2. What you get

  • Full platform access — All Pro plan features are unlocked at no cost.
  • Tiered capacity limits per plan — Starter (10 agents, 3 users), Pro (25 agents, 5 users), Business (50 agents, 10 users), Enterprise (custom).
  • Both deployment modes — SaaS (app.sentrikat.com) and on-premises (Docker Compose) are available.
  • Community support via the community forum and email.
  • No credit card required — Early Access is entirely free.

3. What we expect from you

  • Actively use the platform (deploy agents, review vulnerabilities, generate reports).
  • Report bugs and provide feedback through the customer portal or community forum.
  • Respond to occasional feedback requests (short surveys or a brief call).

We will never ask you to share confidential business information. Participation in feedback activities is voluntary.

4. Service level during Early Access

During Early Access, SentriKat is provided as-is, without binding SLA guarantees. Specifically:

  • We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee it.
  • Support response times are best-effort (typically within 24 hours on business days).
  • Breaking changes may occur with advance notice.
  • Features may be added, modified, or removed as we iterate.

We treat Early Access users with the same care as paid customers — the difference is legal, not operational. Our SLA page describes our operational targets.

5. When does Early Access end?

Early Access ends when SentriKat launches paid plans. We will notify all Early Access participants at least 30 days before the transition via email. The notification will include:

  • The exact date Early Access ends.
  • The pricing that will take effect.
  • Your personal transition options (see Section 6).

We do not commit to a specific end date. Early Access may last weeks or months depending on product readiness and regulatory requirements.

6. What happens when Early Access ends

When paid plans launch, Early Access participants have three options:

Option A — Upgrade with Founding Member pricing

Subscribe to a paid plan and keep your Early Access pricing for 12 months from the launch date. After 12 months, standard pricing applies with 30 days' advance notice. Your data, configuration, and agents carry over seamlessly.

Option B — Continue on the Free tier

Keep using SentriKat on the free plan with reduced limits (3 agents, 1 user, basic features). Your data is preserved. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

Option C — Export and close

Export all your data in JSON/CSV format and close your account. We provide 30 days after the transition to export data. After that, your data is deleted per our DPA.

If you take no action within 30 days of the transition date, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free tier (Option B). We will never delete your data without notice.

7. Your data

  • Your data belongs to you. You can export it at any time via the platform or by contacting support.
  • We process your data per our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
  • On-premises users: all data stays on your infrastructure. We have no access to it.
  • SaaS users: data is hosted in EU data centers (Hetzner, Germany/Finland).

8. Feedback and testimonials

We may ask you for a testimonial or case study after 30 days of active use. This is entirely voluntary. We will never publish your name, company, or feedback without your explicit written consent.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate Early Access participation at any time:

  • You can close your account at any time via the customer portal or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you violate the Terms of Service or misuse the platform. We will notify you before taking action except in cases of security violations.

10. Limitation of liability

SentriKat is provided during Early Access "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Swiss law, OR Art. 100), SentriKat's total liability for any claims arising from Early Access participation is limited to CHF 0 (the amount paid). This does not affect mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
